We live on the military installation in a duplex. It has been a very long time since we have had to share a wall with a neighbor. Since this is a military school and Ron is a student, we live in student quarters. They are very nice and new and have a little bit of charm. It's a lot smaller than our last few homes so we have had to put some of our furniture in storage but I have to say...I like the more simple flow of the home. I took this picture when we pulled up the first day. We couldn't wait to see where we would be living.
Summer 2012 will be remembered as one of the most emotionally draining summers for me. On one hand I am so incredibly grateful for Lucey's successful surgery (more on that to come) and her quick healing. She truly amazes me. But....even as I type, I am still trying to make peace with all the ups, downs and complete frustrations. I plugged along while we were in the midst of it all but now, my health is suffering a bit. Thankfully I can slow down a little and put some time into my healing. We live in a great location for wellness and that is what I am working on.
More about Lu and the rest of The Troops soon!
